Almost ready for School

Just a week left to start ASW. Now, it really hit me that I’ll be a student all over again. The difference of course this time is that I am older, probably wiser with more life experiences behind me and a family of my own. The hardest part about moving to school is leaving Princess (my daughter) and Foxxy (My wife) behind. My consolation is that I’ll be kept very busy in school and the 21 months will seem just like a couple of months.

I flew to Detroit last weekend to attend a friend’s wedding where I was the best man. Luckily for us all the weather was great out there. The interesting part is that my friend met his wife a few years ago while attending my wedding.

24 Rocks!

I started watching 24 during the second season. Thanks to a friend that lent me the complete first season, I was able to catch up. Since then, I’ve been absolutely hooked on the show and introduced several friends and family members to it. Each season ends leaving me looking forward to the next one. For a while, I even had the ring tone of those Cisco phones used at CTU.

I called a friend twice during commercial breaks to predict Jack’s motive for interrogating the president and also those that kidnapped Jack Bauer. I was right on with both predictions. My friend thinks I should not waste my time going to Business School. I should join the writing team of 24. I wish.

I used to be a fan of Alias too. I’ve not been following it much though. I had enough time to catch the last hour of the final episode of the Alias series just to see what happens to Sydney and that Rambaldi stuff. So Sydney later had a son and named him Jack. Hmmm….

Inactivity

There hasn’t really been much going on. I have about one month to the start of the Analytical Skills Workshop and just rounding things up. I ordered my laptop and it was delivered in just 3 days even though I opted for the free shipping. I read an article today titled “DELL: Burned by a fire sale”. Ouch! Oh well, I got a great deal.

A friend told me during the week that he’ll be traveling to France to see the UEFA Champions league final between FC Barcelona and Arsenal FC. I am very jealous. I’ll have to make do with catching it on ESPN.
