Settling in...

Over the last few weeks, I’ve moved from the temporary accommodation I had to my own apartment. My roommate has also arrived from Africa and I have spent a lot of time helping him settle in. I had forgotten how difficult it could be to get integrated into a new society until he arrived. Seriously, I think there should be an easier way for International Students to obtain a real cell phone plan (not prepaid – Way too expensive) without having a Social Security Number.

ASW2 has many more activities than ASW1. For instance, I attended a class today on how to use the ‘Solver’ component of Excel. This was not part of ASW1. This is probably because ASW2 is a much larger class.
In the meantime, I’m enjoying my summer, reformatting my resume, doing some early networking and getting ready for the Fall. My brother who is a Fuqua Admit is set to also arrive in the area soon. Time to kick off that UNC-Duke rivalry within the family
